Walled Gardens such as the one at Quex have a big part to play in the history of growing this exotic fruit, once considered deadly poisonous. We annually raise over 20 varieties of tomato in our glasshouses and polytunnel using easy methods you can copy at home to get the most from your crop.
With tips on cultivation, and harvesting, as well as varieties to choose from and recipes to try out we will rejoice in every aspect of growing, cooking and preserving the summer glut. Take-home bags will be available for you to try out your skills at home.
