We’re thrilled to welcome back Victoria Hosegood from Kent County Council to our Festival of Archaeology for a fascinating update on the groundbreaking Thanet Archaeological Landscapes Mapping Project.

This ambitious initiative is bringing together Thanet’s archaeological record in a way never achieved before, revealing new levels of detail and transforming our understanding of the area’s remarkable heritage and historic landscapes.

Victoria will explore the latest developments in the project, including an insight into the characterisation phase, highlight some of the most exciting archaeological excavations recently completed or currently taking place across the district, and explain how local people can become involved in this important work.

Whether you’re an archaeology enthusiast, a local history lover, or simply curious about the hidden stories beneath our feet, this promises to be an engaging and enlightening evening.

Tickets £14 – includes admission to the museum, house and gardens
