The Museum offers step-free level access at the main entrance and throughout most areas, with ramp access to Quex House via a portable ramp.
Facilities include seating, a designated safe space, a water bowl for assistance dogs, and a manual wheelchair.
British Sign Language interpreters are available, and staff are trained in the GEM course, SEND, and Disability Awareness to support visitors’ diverse needs.
We have worked with AccessAble so you can find out about our facilities before you visit. AccessAble’s surveyors assessed our venue to create a Detailed Access Guide.
We are also featured in Euan’s Guide.
Alternatively, you can email us directly at enquiries@powell-cottonmuseum.org where your email will be directed to the best person to answer your enquiry. We aim to answer all enquiries within 7 days.
