We’re celebrating Heritage Month and the centenary of the Powell-Cotton Trust – making this the perfect time to visit!
Join us for Heritage Open Day on 13th September and discover our remarkable natural history dioramas and cultural objects from the continents of Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
Visit Gallery 3 to see our new permanent exhibition on Zulu culture, and enjoy the contemporary art exhibition Field Guide – Future Edition on display in Gallery 1 from our artist-in-residence Sam Parsons.
Walk through a Quex House – shaped by the Powell-Cotton family over generations – or head outside and wander through heritage gardens, woodland walk, and a historic walled kitchen garden with restored glasshouses.
Young explorers can pick up a family trail, borrow a backpack buddy full of activities and discover our interactive handling collection.
