Volunteer in our gardens

We are currently open to applications from people interested in garden volunteering.

If you have skills such as gardening or basic maintenance, we would love to hear from you.

Community Groups

We are also looking for more community organisations to work with. Our gardens are a safe space for adults with physical or learning disabilities.

If you are a local business looking to give your team a chance to give back to the community and have some fresh air and fun in the process, please get in touch.

All volunteers must be aged over 18.

Contact Head Gardener Sue via email for more information sue.harris@powell-cottonmuseum.org

In the gardens, volunteer opportunities are as accessible as possible, regardless of age, ability or skill. Our inclusive team-approach works towards integrating people with supported learning disabilities as well as college students seeking meaningful work experience.
