Join us for the launch of Wheels of Time 2026

We’re excited to host the 2026 Wheels of Time launch at the Powell‑Cotton Museum, celebrating the start of a new badge‑collecting season.

We are excited to announce that the Powell‑Cotton Museum will host the official launch of Kent’s 2026 Wheels of Time badge‑collecting season on Saturday 21 March, welcoming families, young explorers, and heritage partners from across the county.

Now entering its 12th year, the award‑winning Wheels of Time scheme invites children to discover Kent’s history by visiting 53 museums and heritage venues, each offering its own exclusive collectors’ badge.

The celebrations will begin with a welcome from the scheme’s Patron, Lady Colgrain, the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, followed by a joyful burst of colour as Wheels of Time award‑winning children fire party cannons to officially open the season. Throughout the day, you’ll also have the chance to meet representatives from many of the 53 participating heritage venues, all gathered here to mark the start of another fantastic year of discovery.

Visitors can pick up a 2026 Wheels of Time map, meet our team, explore the Museum and enjoy the award‑winning gardens, historic dioramas and family‑friendly displays that make our site such a special place to start your journey.
