We’re excited to start this work as when complete, it will ensure our collection is protected for future generations. This is great news for the Museum but it will have an impact on our visitor experience, so we are mindful that we need to work hard to ensure your experience is still as welcoming and just as enjoyable.
At times, our natural history galleries won’t be available to visit. We need to protect our visitors from the risk of glass breakages caused by vibration (which of course we will do our best to prevent) and we have two gallery floors being replaced.
In the meantime, we are busy planning new activities, preparing new information and making plans to give your visit even more value this summer. Please do read the update in the link and if you have suggestions about the type of activities you would like to experience during your visit, share them with us!
We look forward to a great summer and want to thank all our visitors for your ongoing understanding and support.
