Sunday 26th September, 12.30pm
We’ve partnered with Angela’s restaurant in Margate to bring you a celebration of the fruit and vegetables grown here at Quex Gardens.
Angela’s were awarded a Michelin Green Star in 2021 and have been using our produce since they opened in 2017. Using this seasons’ produce, they will create a four-course vegetarian menu that showcases the ‘plot to plate’ ethos we both share. On arrival, drinks and canapes will be served in the garden where you will meet Head Gardener Sue Harris, and Head Chef of Angela’s, Rob Cooper. Sue will lead a tour of the walled garden, sharing the history of this verdant space and how we are now on course for a new innovative approach to the use of our gardens for a sustainable future. Then, enjoy a four-course vegetarian lunch prepared by the team at Angela’s in the beautiful relaxed surroundings of the Winter Garden – one of our glasshouses currently undergoing restoration. The ticket price reflects a choice of either an English wine pairing or non-alcoholic cocktails inspired by the herbs and flavours from the garden.
This experience will be limited to 16 tickets only, ensuring the opportunity for our guests to talk and enjoy their meal together.

“Our philosophy for both is an uncomplicated one. We will always consider our people and our planet first, working directly with growers, fishermen and suppliers who understand how to make the most of their produce and at the same time minimise the impact on our environment.” Angela’s of Margate
